All junk vehicles must have all fluids drained from the engine and fuel tank. The fuel tank must either be removed completely, or have a large hole cut in it (at least 10 inches in diameter).
The battery must be removed.
Steel wheels with tires may be left on the vehicle, but it will result in a 50lb/tire weight reduction. Aluminum rims are not penalized.
The vehicle must be free of trash.
Proof that there are no leins on the title must be provided.
Our bank, which is on the check, is First Southern National Bank. There are locations in Lancaster and Nicholasville.
Unfortunately, we can’t tell you what your car or any material (other than catalytic converters and silver coins) will bring without weighing them first.
After your material is weighed and we have your ID, we ask that you stay outside to wait on your check. We will bring it to you. We do this to protect our employees and their loved ones.
To ensure the safety of our customers, we require all visitors to wear shoes when on the property.
Children should be supervised at all times.
While our operators are well-trained, keeping a safe distance from heavy equipment is the best practice. If you can’t see the operator, they can’t see you.
